Josh Allen is a trial lawyer who has practiced criminal law since 2001. Mr. Allen's practice is divided between Federal, State and Municipal court allegations. Mr. Allen has represented individuals in Federal court on matters including narcotics distribution, conspiracy, fraud, and public corruption.
Mr. Allen's State and Municipal practice includes every type of criminal allegation including narcotics possession, vehicular homicide, DUI, robbery, battery, assault, theft, fraud, embezzlement, child abuse, sex crimes and murder.
From 2001 to 2002, Mr. Allen prosecuted for the Johnson County District Attorney's Office handling primarily domestic crimes including assault and battery. From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Allen was an Assistant District Attorney for Wyandotte County where he tried over 30 jury trials, including those involving murder and rape.
Since 2004, Mr. Allen has served on the Board of Governors of the Wyandotte County Bar Assocation and the Board of Directors of the Johnson County Bar Association. Mr. Allen is admitted to practice in Kansas and Missouri as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kansas and the Western District of Missouri. Most recently, he has been elected and is privileged to serve as President of the Wyandotte County Bar Association for the 2010 term.
